Stainless 316 B8M Class 1 vs Class 2

Q:  Hoping you can help me understand the difference between 316 B8M Class 1 and Class 2 bolts?
A:  The primary difference between Class 1 and Class 2, 316 B8M bolts is how the materials are produced; providing each with different properties and capabilities. The solution annealed form is Class 1, and Class 2 B8M bolts are then strain hardened for added strength and galling resistance.
