Q: Can you clarify the difference between 304 B8 and 316 B8M?
A: Both 316 B8M and 304 B8 bolts are especially suited for high pressure and high temperature service. The main difference in B8 and B8M bolts is that 316 B8M bolts offer improved corrosion resistance compared to 304 B8 bolts, due to higher molybdenum content.
