A: Titanium screws are extremely strong as well as lightweight. They are known for their excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Grade 5 titanium screws have a strength of 148 ksi UTS and 138ksi yield. Titanium Grade 2 screws have a strength of 70ksi UTS and 50 yield. Titanium Grade 5 screws are 4 times stronger than 316 stainless steel at nearly half the weight.
