A: MP35N bolts are made from one of the strongest alloys available to industry. MP35N bolts offer a typical ultimate tensile strength of 285ksi and a yield strength of 277 ksi. As an expensive alloy, it is used for the most extreme strength situations such as aerospace and oil & gas applications. Its sister alloy MP195 offers slightly less strength of typically 275ksi UTS and 265ksi yield. These alloys are extremely strong but can only be used in moderate temperatures: MP35N bolts have a max of 800°F and MP195 bolts have a max of 1100°F .
For materials that offer a combination of high strength and high temperature use the go to alloys are Inconel 718 bolts, Waspaloy bolts and A286 bolts; as well as popular European alloy Nimonic bolts:
